company currently has a vacancy for a Standards Manager. The
successful candidate will be required to participate in the work of
International Standards Committees and their associated Working
Groups, and also play a key role in assuring compliance of all new
products to the relevant national and international standards.
Role
Participation in National & International Standards Bodies as
required.

Drafting and submitting WA responses to Standards bodies as
appropriate
Arranging for Compliance Testing and Certification of new products
against the relevant Standards.
Review of R&D Documentation to ensure Compliance with Relevant
Standards
Issuing of Manufactures Declarations for New Products as required
Assist in development of documentation for New Product Launches
Support R & D and Sales & Marketing functions as required
Requirements of the role
Third level Electrical or Electronics Qualification
Minimum of five years of active participation in International
Standards bodies
Excellent communication skills.
Enthusiastic & pro-active.
Able to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
International Travel essential
